Embracing the New Year with Calm Intentions: Moving Slowly into 2025

Every year as we move from the hustle and sparkle of the party season into a New Year I like to take my time to allow for a slow transition. Instead of rushing headlong into the new year with urgency, I find embracing a more mindful, intentional entry into the year gives me time to reflect on the Christmas period and the previous year and allows me time to think about what I hope to achieve or create in my life moving into the New Year 

 

Moving Slowly into the New Year

So here we are, almost half a month into 2025 but I am fully enjoying the slow transition! I have been picking up and putting down Tamara Driessen’s Soft Launch this year. On the days I have time, I have been pulling a tarot card and journaling on the card based on the questions she has created for each day of the month. I love this! I love Tamara anyway but this has lifted my slow mo entry to the new year to another level. I feel like I am nourishing my mind and soul and gradually getting myself into the flow of 2025!

 

Creating a Slow, Intentional Start to 2025

Over the Christmas period I got out of some of my regular routines (although I added some new ones!) but rather than rush back into them I am gradually picking up the pace! During the holidays I let my morning routine of oil pulling and banana skin cleansing drop, so in the last few days I have started doing that again in the mornings. I have also started doing my regular face yoga mini workout while applying my make up again. As far as things I’ve added goes, I got an LED face mask before Christmas so I have been trying to make sure I use that for 10 minutes a day and I bought the most gorgeous Dore and Rose sleep mask after Christmas so I am sleeping with it on every night.

The new year is a time for renewal, but it doesn’t need to be a race. Embrace the slow, mindful entry into 2025 and allow the journey to unfold at a pace that feels right for you. May this year bring you peace, balance, and the confidence to move through it with intention, grace, and a radiant, relaxed face!
